Side-quest from kinetic art: Let's have floor cleaning robots make art!
Over 50 hours of engineering and planning went into the 20-minute performance and I found it especially stressful to just sit and wait for the robots to run at their programmed times. That’s a bit like life where we try to control so many things but then sometimes we just have to let go and leave things to chance.

2024 Tetrabot Ballet series
Here’s “Tetrabot Ballet”, a large canvas painting made by four robots with minimal human interaction. Each robot has a role in the performance and was set to run at a predetermined time. First effort at robot painting. A single random-navigating robot runs over pre-dispensed paint to create interesting patterns before erroring out.
